The Long Beach Scottish Rite Event Center is a five-story Romanesque revival or Italian Renaissance style building offering a 350 seat Banquet Room and full service commercial kitchen to rent. An 800 seat Theatre equipped for full stage productions is also available for event rental. Call (562) 436-3983 for a tour. Established in 1924; the Long Beach Scottish Rite (LBSR) was established in 1924 and construction completed in 1926. It has been designated as Long Beach Historical Landmark #8. In 2011 the Theatre was formally dedicated to Ernest Borgnine, who was also a member of the fraternity along with Tom Mix, Norm Crosby, John Wayne, Audie Murphy, and other notable Hollywood performers. Our Marketing, Event, and Stage staffing are built of highly skilled industry professionals which include a Marketing Director, an Event Coordinator, several Event Hosts, Hostesses, Banquet Hall Serving Crew, and a Stage / Technical Crew consisting of Sound, Lighting, and Stage Managers and their crews.
