However, when Matthew McConaughey joined as creative director, he presented the brand with a collaborative opportunity that drew on his Texas spirit and the Russells' Kentucky roots.Co-creator McConaughey said: "We asked ourselves what if we put a Texas spin on Kentucky Straight Bourbon, and that curiosity led to the birth of Longbranch.
