Longevity Insight Services is a San Diego, CA based firm, specializing in informational products with a focus on longevity. Until recently, the assessment of longevity has been limited to evaluating traditional medical risk factors such as age, sex and medical impairments. However, with mortality rates steadily decreasing, longevity risk becoming more and more prevalent globally, and recent developments in the causal linkages between personality, psychology and mortality; the founders of Longevity Insight Services sought to create a solution that would further assess survivability and allow a more comprehensive categorization of longevity risk on an individual basis and across a population. Inspired by Dr. Howard S. Friedman's groundbreaking longitudinal longevity study that began in 1921, the founders of Longevity Insight Services and Dr. Friedman have collaborated to introduce the world's first bio-psycho-social longevity evaluation tool, LITE. LITE is a unique system capable of categorizing longevity risk from an individual basis up to a large population by assessing survivability on a life by life basis from a bio-psycho-social approach. Our focus is providing high quality information that goes beyond traditional risk factors such as age, gender and health impairments to allow a more informed determination of the survivability of a life or group of lives, relative to their corresponding survival curves.
