CASE STUDYIn 2008, we were part of the team responsible for creating, developing and implementing the most innovative political campaign in Brazil to date. By providing Mr. Fernando Gabeira with Web 2.0 tools in his campaign for Mayor of Rio de Janeiro, Mr. Gabeira was able to increase his percentage of the votes from 4% to 49% in three months. While Mr. Gabeira's bid was ultimately unsuccessful, the methodologies employed validated the ability of the Internet and mobile tools to dramatically disrupt the political landscape in Brazil.
