Broadcast Media - Munich, Bavaria, Germany
LORA Munich is a non-commercial community/citizen radio station in Munich. As part of the Bundesverband Freier Radios (BFR), LORA stands for the third pillar of the broadcasting landscape, the particular, regional, local and non-commercial community media. Such independent media give voice to societies and individuals on issues that meet their respective needs and interests, and in this way are the tool to advance the publication of their issues that may not be represented in the mainstream media, facilitating the inclusive and participatory process to dialogue within and across communities on a regional and local level.Accordingly, at LORA Munich, over 110 editorial teams are active, broadly representing and networking Munich's emancipatory civil society and cultural landscape. In the LORA program, associations, initiatives, expad communities and foreign-language communities, activists and music lovers broadcast voluntarily and on their own initiative.LORA Munich supports the editorial offices through further education, networking and internal broadcast criticism. The editorial teams and their spokespersons determine the direction of the radio and the program in a joint editorial conference.
