Lourenco Fernandes founded Lorenz Studio in 1947.He started in a shop on the first floor of Sincro building behind the Margao Municipal Building. Since then the address has remained the same but the business has grown and diversified to become the most popular and widely patronized photo studio in the whole of Goa- Lorenz & Son Studio.Setting high standards in the field of black and white photography, he worked with patient and tireless dedication to photograph memories for Goans inspite of the tedious labour involved in manual exposing, developing and exposing of prints. When his son Adelino joined the photography business in 1969, Lorenz Studios acquired a new avatar as "Lorenz and Son Studio"Today Lorenz is the premier Photography and allied services destination in Goa. It can be reliably said that more than half of Goa's population has stepped into a Lorenz studio at least once.If "A picture speaks a thousand words", then Lorenz is the perfect place to capture memories which evoke emotions and feelings years after the moment has passed.All throughout we have maintained the quality and professionalism that we have been known and loved for by generations in Goa and beyond.Among the firsts which we take pride in are:The first Air -Conditioned portrait Studio in Goa was renovated way back in 1980. South Goa's 1st Color lab started in 1989.
