Sometimes there is nothing better than unposed laughter and love.I discovered and fell in love with photography as a teenager and it has been my passion for over 26 years. Before my children I focused on fashion and fine art, was lucky enough to work under the some of the Mastersand have my work showcased and published nationally and Internationally.I had just signed a lease on my first studio in 10 years when I found out I was pregnant with my first, Viola. My focus had never been children but as my belly grew and business skyrocketed with my trusty sidekick along for the rideI found myself more and more compelled to photograph children and their families.Viola came to work with me every day until she was ten months old. Her sister Oona and her are a daily inspiration and challenge. Their baby brother Ansel was born on 12/5 and already loves the camera.Having a newborn and a toddler helped me understand the highs and lows of the journey every family goes through.My work and the families I work with have also provided the strength and inspiration I need to get through toddlerness.I bring the same approach to photographing other children as I bring to my own, is to go at their speed working around their moods. I never force, I get on their level and make insane noises, faces and jump around like a lunatic.My own little maniacs brought me to the magic that is family photography and I look forward to helping you capturethat moment in time whether it is a newborn, child, family, or fashion and fine art.I don't follow current trends, my style is my voice. I am available for portraiture, headshots, family portraits, newborn portraiture, school portraits, maternity photos, engagement photos, architecture and other ideas you wish to create.
