As a fine art educator, I teach workshops covering topics such as landscape composition, watercolor techniques, oil painting, and art marketing.As an art marketing expert, I am a regular contributor to Clint Watson's Fine Art Views newsletter - a free daily newsletter instructing artists on how to better market and sell their artwork. This newsletter has over 14,000 subscribers. I also authored a chapter on setting up artist websites for Calvin Goodman's Art Marketing Handbook (2001)As a freelance arts writer, I've written for the following Fine Art publications since 1996: American Artist, Workshop, and Watercolor Magazines.As a painter, I am a member of the distinguished group: The Putney Painters, who meet with our mentors, Richard Schmid and Nancy Guzik. Schmid and Guzik have been called the greatest living artists of our time. Our group is regularly invited to show in galleries and museums. Many of us have garnered national awards in painting competitions.
