The Los Angeles Matadors are the Los Angeles Boxing Team in the new World Series of Boxing.WORLD SERIES OF BOXING (WSB) is a new global boxing competition from the INTERNATIONAL BOXING ASSOCIATION (AIBA), whose vision is to preserve the best of professional boxing while retaining the best features of amateur boxing.The WSB is the WORLD'S FIRST GLOBAL SPORTS LEAGUE with 12 teams competing in 3 continents (Asia, Europe, and North America). This is the first TEAM COMPETITION FORMAT in boxing.All of the individual World Champions from the World Series of Boxing will earn an automatic berth for their country into the 2012 OLYMPIC GAMES. WSB boxers are paid a salary and retain their OLYMPIC ELIGIBILITY.All WSB boxers are highly accomplished Amateurs with International Boxing experience. Many are OLYMPIC and WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MEDALISTS. They are the best of the best.THE LOS ANGELES MATADORS are one of 4 teams in the WSB Americas conference, along with the Memphis Force, Miami Gallos, and Mexico City Guerreros.IT'S L.A. vs. THE WORLD.
