The Neighborhood Land Trust creates urban parks and gardens in some of the most park-poor, under-served communities across Los Angeles. We launched in 2002, and since then have played an important role in the creation, renovation and opening of 20+ parks and gardens serving over 300,000 people annually. An additional 3 parks are developed each year. We've helped create 8+ acres of green space, and will add 12 more by 2020.
