LACP is committed to empowering youth through services that foster creativity and impart useful skills necessary to elevate students beyond their present condition to become positive participants in their community and transform their lives for a successful future.Each year LACP's founder, Aaron Valencia with his dedicated team and the youth of Lost Angels Children's Project restore a classic car. Working tirelessly for months to give new life to an old vehicle, they spend countless hours sourcing parts, building the body, and adding distinctive details, creating a one-of-a-kind automotive masterpiece. While the car is being built, Aaron and volunteers from all across Southern California sell a promotional poster which comes with a ticket that automatically enters you into the drawing for a chance to WIN charity-build custom Hot Rod.Once the car is complete, community members, generous donors, spectators, volunteers, fans, and collectors alike convene at the Ventura Nationals Custom Car & Motorcycle Show in Ventura, California for the unveiling and the name of the winner is announced.
