LOTS Shipping Limited, was set up in June 1994 to tap the largely underutilized opportunities in Inland Water Transport. The company launched its first vessel M.B. Meenachil, a 650 MT dry cargo cum container barge in August. Since then, the company has made steady progress in acquiring vessels and presently owns 7 barges and operates 4 chartered barges capable of carrying dry cargo, petroleum products and chemicals. LOTS shipping Ltd has been awarded the contract for the RO-RO & LO-LO operations between BG and WI Islands for the next 10 Years.Master Shipyard Pvt Ltd (Associate co)Master Shipyard Private Limited is a ship building company located at Edakochi famous for its traditional ship building and repairing legacy. The company has leased three acres of land in the waterfront where it has the ship-building yard. The company has so far successfully built and launched several barges. The company has recently completed the construction of a 500 DWT Tanker Barge, 800 DWT Dumb Barge, Jack up Barge for UAE and Pusher Barge for Sudan. 2 Nos 1600 dry cargo cum container river sea vessels and a Steel Yacht are nearing completion.
