The Louisiana Film Foundation (LIFF) advances and promotes Louisiana's film and digital storytelling creation through exhibition, education and economic development. The deep, rich history of storytelling in Louisiana is the perfect backdrop for LIFF FEST, the foundations' flagship annual Film Festival, which gathers over 8000 attendees, filmmakers, artists and musicians from all over the world. Through LIFF's Mentorship Program up-and-coming artists may further develop skills and relationships that enable them to play a central role in shaping the future of filmmaking. LIFF's educational initiatives and certification programs are aimed at training local workers for employment in multiple areas of film production and film tourism.
