LKA serves the 1 in 5 children with Dyslexia in Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas. Our teachers are trained to teach students with dyslexia to read and write as fluently and as close to grade level as possible. LKA teaches students math reasoning and provides hands on experiences in Science, Social Studies, Art, Drama, Engineering, and Physical Education. LKA makes this a priority through a commitment to teacher development in the science of dyslexia and a commitment to developing a loving community for students, parents, and staff. LKA is a tuition free school committed to providing the best opportunities to students with dyslexia.
