The goals of our organization are to inspire and empower children from all walks of life to become confident, self-sufficient, productive and contributing members of society. To do this, we: • Advocate early literacy programs that educate and encourage family and community members to invest in our children through story time and imaginative play • Participate in creating fun, interactive and innovative educational programs and opportunities that ignite a lifelong love of learning • Donate resources to ensure children in need are not "Bookless" and have the means to achieve By Advocating, Participating and Donating Love and Literacy will empower families and communities to impact these critical years before children enter school and throughout their educational development. In fact, Nobel Prize-winning economist James J. Heckman found that economic returns on dollars invested in early education are as high as 15-17% per year - higher than other traditional economic development strategies.
