Presenting a new American musical about one of the greatest movie stars who ever lived. Love Goddess takes us on a journey of music, dance and magic with soaring melodies and foot-tapping sing-a-longs. At 13 she worked long hours as her father's dance partner, and broke into Hollywood as the exotic "girl from afar" in dozens of films. Crowned Love Goddess by her adoring fans, Rita Hayworth thrilled studio executives and audiences in 1940s/50s Hollywood with her seductive on-screen and demure off-screen charm. But underneath, Hayworth was tortured by self-doubt. An object of fantasy for millions, she was a stranger to herself.Originally a solo play created and performed by Almog Pail entitled Me, Myself and Rita, the show won raves from audiences and critics in Malta, Off-Broadway and London as it evolved into a full-scale musical with creative team Logan Medland, Composer (pianist for A Bronx Tale Broadway, Writer/Composer, Fingers and Toes), Jay Stern, Director (The Bardy Bunch, Hell is for Real.
