Love in Action (LIA) http://loveinaction.vn https://www.facebook.com/yeuthuonghanhdong is a group following Christ based in Hanoi, Vietnam which was founded by Jacob Bloemberg, Lead Pastor at Hanoi International Fellowship.LIA aims to mobilize churches to love their neighbors through serving their communities and to love Hanoi through collaborative efforts.Our goals include, but not limited to:+ Training and mobilizing 100 church leaders in Christian community development+ Rehabilitating 500 drug addicts from Hanoi with at least a 3-month stay at any of the + Christian rehabilitation centers+ Helping 500 people who are poor, orphaned, widowed or homeless via the+ Communities of Peace project+ Cleaning up 50 parks, lakes and neighborhoods+ Supporting 5 women in recovery from human trafficking+ Donating and distributing 1000 wheelchairsSome activities we've done recently:+ Blood drive + Charity trip to visit and give gifts (school supplies) for 463 students at Nam Nhu Primary School, Dien Bien province – a poor and under-developed area in Vietnam.+ First-aid training for pastors and deacons from different churches in Hanoi.+ Homeschooling conference+ Collecting clothes, books, school supplies to send to children and people at mountainous areas in Vietnam + Job training for disadvantage people We would love to connect with followers of Jesus Christ, churches and congregations all over the world.
