Loved Twice clothes newborns-in-need with recycled baby clothing for their first year of life. Founded in 2005 to help the infant victims of Hurricane Katrina, we have since clothed 5,759 newborns, helping vulnerable families meet their basic needs while keeping over 57,000 pounds of clothing out of landfills. That's 431,395 essential garments recycled into underserved communities with an estimated retail value of $1,295,775!Our nonprofit's community volunteers collect gently-used baby clothing, sort these precious garments into boy and girl wardrobes-in-a-box, and distribute the boxes through licensed social workers. Each baby receives approximately 75 items, including newborn onesies, blankets, jackets, sleepers, hats, socks, board books and an educational new parent kit.
