Lovedesh® is a new British heritage luxury social impact brand. On a mission to protect our people/planet. Without fear or favour. We are a London based woc mother & teenage daughter duo. Heartbroken by global poverty and modern day slavery as well as climate change Create & deliver social impact and sustainability solutions - without ‘greenwashing' or ‘sweat-washing' - a phrase I have coined that hides slavery.Lovedesh is working with artisans in other stigmatised nation's and regions in or emerging from past conflict. Eg Rwanda, Iraq, Syria, South Sudan. It is the brainchild of British start up social entrepreneur and designer Yasmin Choudhury, whose British immigrant parents originated from Bangladesh. She has been visiting since the age of seven and scouted out original and authentic experiences from Bangladesh, which are curated into fine fashion, food and cultural experiences.Overview by Lovedesh® founder. "I got fed up about how we never hear about all the good stuff. How global influencers remain ignorant and in the dark about what is unjustly seemed the "poorest nations" in the world. "All we get to see and hear is bad news and images. Or charity appeals constantly feeding us images showing malnourished kids and adults. It is a skewed, unbalanced view often produced by Westernised foreigners. "And we want to show that these nations have incredible heritage skills that are at risk of being lost to the world, so we can protect, platform and promote. "That's where Lovedesh® comes in. We showcase and share stunning fashion and design, and introduce boutique food and travel secrets to get the rest of the world chance to change how we see and experience developing countries. "Why?
