The Lovitt Mining Company ("LMC") is the wholly owned subsidiary of TSX Venture company Lovitt Resources Inc. with stock symbol "LRC". LMC was incorporated in WA State in 1949, and gold production began in 1950. From 1950 to 1967 LMC was the 1st or 2nd largest producing underground gold mine in the USA, with credits of over 420,000 oz of gold and 650,000 oz of silver. In 1984 Teck Corporation funded LRC (originally Grange Gold) to enable it to buy a minority interest in LMC. In 1996 LNC unified the patented claims for 100% ownership, and in 2004 LMC bought out minority shareholders to bring LRC's ownership of LMC to 100%. LRC is raising funds to allow LMC to produce gold at the Lovitt Gold Mine and to begin a major exploration program on the Wenatchee Gold Belt ("WGB"). LMC has the best strategic position on the WGB, with the objective to produce a multi-million oz gold and silver resource in an exploration program to commence in early 2012.
