Lowry Global Media, a publishing company with a global reach, was founded in early 2012. We began by publishing the artwork of Myles Pinkney on notebooks, journals, and in a calendar. The next year we created our line of "Circle It" word search puzzle books with the word search words embedded in the text of short stories, and within text from Wikipedia (the Facts series). Based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Lowry Global Media is nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. The founder, Mark Schumacher, and his wife Maria are lifelong entrepreneurs with a history of success in business. In 2013 Mark's father was hospitalized for two weeks. To help his father pass time, a word search book was sought after in the hospital gift shop, but all they had were the typical books with boring lists of words. From this experience came Mark's idea to embed the words for the word search puzzles within the text of something interesting to read; No more boring lists of words™. In November of 2014 Lowry Global Media released nine new Circle It, Facts, Word Search Puzzle Books with wildlife themes for the February 2015 Rocky Mountain Gift Show. The nine new titles are: Mountain Lion and Vicious Critters Facts; Bear Facts; Wolf and Coyote Facts; Bald Eagle and Owl Facts; Rocky Mountain Wildlife Facts; Trout Facts; Snowy Owl and Golden Eagle Facts; Elk, Moose, and Deer Facts; National Parks and Forests in Colorado Facts.
