Loyola is a 30 year old organization that offers the centuries old tradition of spiritual companioning, also called spiritual direction or mentoring. It can be looked at as personal life coaching for the soul and provides a chance to focus and integrate various life experiences with a trusted guide who will listen as you find your way. It can encompass all areas of life, including images of God, questions of faith, integrating traumatic or troubling experiences, renewing relationships, understanding fears, sorrows and joys. It invites you to discover, or rediscover, God in your life with the goal of your self-understanding, personal growth and the establishment of a conscious connection with the Sacred. The Welcome Home program works specifically with military veterans and their families on reintegration issues.
