LP Initiatives Foundation is a unique non-profit NGO (Regd. under section 80G) which aims at making the world a better place for girl children in rural areas of India. We try to free the girl child from the shackles of society by instilling in her a desire for freedom of thought and expression and encouraging her to become economically independent. We also wish to provide guidance to the working population of women in rural areas and show them how many employment options are available for them to explore.The main objectives and plans of the LP Initiatives Foundation :1. Identify schools in rural and most backward/tribal areas of India and provide counselling for girls of those communities to ensure that they continue their further education.2. Motivate the girl child and develop her skill and self-confidence so as to make her economically and socially independent.3. Provide learning materials feasible for school and college education and thereby motivate self-employment which is relevant to the girl's background.4. Identify school drop–outs among the girls of the most backward regions of India and provide counselling for their health and hygiene and their safety in their work environment.5. Enlighten working village women about the benefits of self-employment and the health hazards they may face at their workplace.
