The International Arbitration Society (IAS) is a student union society at the London School of Economics and Political Science. With over 100 members at the start of the year, the Society has grown at a tremendous rate boasting a firmly established network of professors, law firms and societies. IAS unites students interested in international arbitration, mainly postgraduates, and offers them arbitration-related activities. The society aims at promotion of international arbitration and has been created for both educational and networking purposes. In particular, the Society provides its members with seminars and lectures by high-profile arbitration guest speakers, with the opportunity to visit major arbitration institutions and law firms, and with socials to connect students with leading arbitration practitioners.
