LSL World Initiative (LSLWI) is a global organization dedicated to the socio-economic empowerment of emerging countries: www.lslwi.com.LSLWI was founded by Laurent Lamothe, Haiti's former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Prime Minister. During his tenure as Prime Minister (2012-2014), Mr. Lamothe fought to improve the living conditions of the poorest in Haiti. He implemented social programs that benefited the vulnerable, spearheaded the free education program, and promoted good governance by tackling corruption. In November 2014, The Latin Trade Group named him the most Innovative Leader of 2014 for his efforts in combatting poverty and providing economic development in Haiti. LSLWI is committed to providing emerging and developing countries with innovative financing mechanisms ‒ based on their own resources ‒ that will enable them to reach their development goals while reducing their reliance on foreign aid.
