Lucid act as introducer and facilitator for a high net worth investor with an estimated £700m to deploy. We are looking for high-quality investment opportunities between £1m and £300m in value. The fund is sector agnostic, but will not currently consider real estate transactions. Projects can be located anywhere in the world, except Africa and countries currently in conflict or embargoed. Investment Criteria: While the fund has a broad mandate it is unlikely to invest in any of the following: • Start-up or seed rounds, unless asset-backed such as renewable energy projects using established technologies• Real estate or property development transactions• Asset purchases• Armaments• Pre-license pharmaceuticals• Transactions less than £1m• Investment into other funds• Projects where the management team lack a track record The fund has a particular interest in: • Renewable Energy and Infrastructure• Aviation• Oil and Gas• Mining• Manufacturing• Distressed businesses needing cash to re-structure• High growth businesses• An equity IRR of >15% p.a.
