Every child deserves a childhood, a dream and a future to spread their wings and be free to fly.Human Trafficking, also known as modern slavery, is the fastest growing crime in the world. Worldwide, approximately 43 million adults and children are kept in slavery. Almost 90% of South Africa's population. The criminals are showing a profit of $32 billion every year, with sex slavery victims at an average age of 11, human trafficking is happening all over the world.In South Africa a child goes missing every five hours. And one in every 4 children will never be found again. To help prevent human trafficking in South Africa and across borders, Lucy International will conduct practical briefings at schools, for parents and in communities.Our dream is to create awareness to prevent children and young women to fall prey to traffickers. With almost 14 million kids in more than 25 500 schools in South Africa, we need your help to reach them all.Lucy International have a human traffic briefing in place to educate, warn and save people from slavery with the support of Koos Kotze of JKLS Africa, a specialist legal company preventing risk, to give a supporting briefing on security and answer legal aspects.
