The Ludic Intelligence Institute (LII) promotes the development of a more playful Intelligence in organizations: a new mindset to respond to the interdependent and uncertain environment that presents unprecedented changes and challenges. The practices that worked before no longer give the expected results. Today our lives and our businesses are part of an infinite game in which the rules and the players change all the time. The LII promotes research, exchange, and training programs. It has alliances (SkillsSims Latam, which provides simulation games, The RBL Group USA, directed by Dave Ulrich) and associates in the American Continent and Spain. It was founded by Marcos Cristal, author of the book Intelingencia Lúdica, Pablo Sirlin and Cristian Gorbea. Marcos Cristal is also the Academic Director of the Ludic Intelligence Program of the Di Tella University.Paradoxically, we are in a moment of humanity where what companies require of their people and what people look for in their jobs can be aligned. Today, more than ever, both, companies and individuals, are looking for environments where they can display more playful attitudes such as being more creative, flexible, open to learning, collaborative, and committed. The development of a playful intelligence becomes the bridge. Several neuro-scientific studies show that few human activities activate so many areas of the brain at the same time, as when a person enters a playful state (not just playing, but doing whatever task they feel passionate about). These studies indicate that by deploying more playful environments and attitudes, a harmony is generated between what people feel, think and do, promoting more innovation, cooperation and learning. Playful Intelligence integrates rational, emotional, practical and collective intelligences, opening infinite opportunities for the co-creation of new worlds and initiatives.
