New York Dermatologist Dr. Kiran Lohia was born, educated and trained in New York, but now practices in New Delhi. She is a Columbia University graduate and an M.D specializingin Dermatology. She is "American Board Certified" with further degrees in Aesthetic Medicine and Laser Surgery, and a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, American Society of Dermatology, American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, European Society of Cosmetic and Aesthetic Dermatology, International Academy of Cosmetic Dermatology among others.In addition, to these accreditations, Dr. Kiran Lohia has completed a Diploma course in Cosmetic Science through the U.K. Society of Cosmetic Scientists along with a Masters in Dermatology and a Diplomate in Clinical Dermatology. Due to her extensive studies, Dr. Lohia has the distinction of being one of few physicians worldwide with both Cosmetic Formulation and Dermatology degrees, making her a worldwide expert on skin care products and their topical applications. In addition to her dermatology practice, Dr. Lohia consults worldwide using her specialized understanding of the intersection between cosmetic formulation and dermatology. In India itself she founded and formulated a brand of cosmeceuticals known as COSMEDIC and recently chaired UBM's 2013 Cosmetic & Science Conference in Mumbai. To help promote awareness of common skin issues, Dr. Kiran Lohia has written articles and been featured in The Times of India, The Tribune, The Deccan Herald, Asian Age, Marwar, Good Housekeeping, Men's Health, Complete Wellbeing magazine, Prevention magazine, Grehalakshmi magazine, Beauty & Style, Atelier magazine and more. Furthermore, she is on the expert panels of Times of India, Health India and Bollywood Shaadis and has even been featured as an expert dermatologist on the NDTV show Band Baaja Bride.
