Lupii Cafe is a community focused, zero-waste space, dedicated to environmental and social sustainability. Currently, the cafe offers weekly community dinners, ethical catering, education, nutrition, support programs and weekly food rescue and free produce programs. We will continue to create new ways to empower, educate and help others to promote sustainability. At lupii cafe you won't find anything disposable and you won't be throwing anything away. Our entire store has been built from the ground up through a variety of different upcycled material. At Lupii cafe, our values guide our actions and we implement zero-waste practices at every level of our operations. Lastly, lupii cafe's zero-waste strategy extends to the problem of food waste. Every day, Canadians waste over 40% of all food. lupii cafe prioritizes sourcing local produce that is perfectly healthy and delicious but may end up in the landfill due to industry requirements regarding size/shape or arbitrary sell-by dates.Since 2015 Lupii Cafe has been serving the community for anyone who needs it.
