Advanced energy storage system (ESS) is the crucial technology for the future target of carbon neutralization. The large-scale utilization of renewable energy requires energy storage systems to provide reliable electricity supply. However, the currently used energy storage technology, Li-ion batteries has flaming risks, which increase safety concerns of the society. The mission of Luquos Energy is to develop an inherently safe, scalable, low-cost and refuellable aqueous flow battery energy storage system. Our flow battery system incorporates advanced electrolytes, electrodes and separator, to provide a safe and economical solution for grid energy storage and automobile applications.
