Based on that strange hypothetical social currency of 'Brownie Points', luvdup is an exciting new app that offers couples the space to keep their relationship in balance. It's designed to encourage couples to communicate and be aware of what their partner is feeling.At the heart of the concept each partner can award the other Luv Points, on a sliding scale, between +100 and -100. Just like 'Brownie Points' there are no rules for the value of points or when they should be awarded or deducted - it's up to the individual. A successful relationship doesn't rest on its laurels so Luv Points can be there one minute and gone the next.All good relationships have swings and roundabouts, so the branding has been developed to reflect the changing mood that this produces. As each person's score changes, the heart icon also changes to reflect the likely mood that this engenders - the darker colours on the left of the heart are more in evidence for negative scores and the bright colours on the right for positive scores.luvdup also offers a private feed for couples to share their innermost thoughts; good, bad or indifferent. All activity appears here and certain elements can also be shared on Facebook at the users discretion.Users can trade points, with each other, for whatever they wish, and luvdup also offers resources for sending gifts, both virtual and real. The app records important dates and send reminders. It also offers a place to keep sizes and a Luv List of things on your birthday / Christmas list. So now there is no excuse for not treating each other.
