Gartner stepped down from his position with the New York State District Court to return to private practice.In Judge Gartner's seven years on the bench, he had become the most published judge in the history of the New York State District Court. He was previously a partner in Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein, P.C., concentrating in complex commercial litigation and appeals.In July 2008, Lynn, Gartner & Dunne was formed when John Dunne left the firm Kelleher & Dunne, of Manhattan, to rejoin Lynn & Gartner as a partner.
