Maven is located in downtown Burlington on the Church Street Marketplace, Vermont's award-winning open air mall, where you'll find historic architecture, year-round festivals, street entertainers, music and over 100 places to shop and dine. We are also located less than a mile from the Andy "Adog" Williams skatepark designed by Grindline Skateparks. The skatepark was named after our good friend Andy, who passed away in 2013. To learn more about Andy and The Friends for Adog Foundation, please visit www.friendsforadog.org.Maven was started by Trina Zide and Brendan Foster in August of 2005. The goal from the start was to be a cultural hub for skateboarding in Vermont; by advocating for a new skatepark, hosting art shows, hosting film premiers, and supporting like-minded businesses and non-profits in the area. Maven carries only the brands that are true to skateboarding, and focuses on smaller/skater owned companies that exist because of their passion for skateboarding.Some of the brands that we currently carry are Vans, Adidas Skateboarding, Cons, Levis Skateboarding, Anti Hero, Krooked, Polar, FA/Hockey, Quasi, Magenta, Call Me 917, and of course our own line of goods.
