Currently, it will take over 250 years to overcome the income and wealth gap in America and if intentional actions are not taken things will only worsen. We understand this gap cannot be closed by real estate alone and we call upon other industries to level up in collaboration with this effort. However, real estate is specifically colored in "inequity" intended to purposely deprive African American of the income and wealth building opportunities that comes with owning real estate. With the increasing call for "equity" we now have a much needed value proposition for any successful business endeavor. Maat Community Partners was established to help address this fight against income and wealth inequality". By leveraging this value proposition for investment purposes to address the impact of slavery and jim crow. The challenge before us?
