At Mac Tíre, we aim to make theatre which is bold, dynamic and joyful. We constantly challenge both boundaries of form and narrative, in order to develop work which is always playful, surprising and political. Whether that is a one-man show, or a devised physical theatre piece, we want to tell stories which explore and reclaim histories and identities often marginalized and overlooked. Our passion is to create work which ignites curiosity and intrigue within the audience. We love to ask daring questions, we love to dream big, and we love to turn traditional storytelling on its head, embracing mediums such as dance, music, spoken word, documentary and AV throughout our work.
