Train like a martial artist with Machado Martial Arts, in our Tai Chi class where you'll learn basic self-defense skills and meditation with a cardio kick. Machado Martial Arts uses Qi Gong and Shaolin conditioning drills. A regular class includes cardio calisthenics: punches, kicks, knees, and elbows; along with the mindful movements of traditional Tai Chi Chuan.Sam Machado (Sam Laoshi) has been studying traditional Chinese martial arts for thirty years. In association with Addis Kung Academy and Sifu Dennis Dereje, Sam Laoshi is sharing his knowledge of authentic Chen Pan Ling Tai Chi. Like his teachers before him, Sam Laoshi continues to train in several styles with authentic instructors. Sam Laoshi's studies include Moy Yat Ving Tsun, Chen Pan Ling Taiji Quan, Yang Taiji 24, Traditional Yang Taiji Quan, Xing Yi Quan, Chen Family Traditional Arts, and Taiji Meihua Tanglang.
