Madam for America is a nonpartisan nonprofit organization headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri. The mission is to identify, train, recruit Black women for appointed or elected public offices in the Midwest. Our issues focus on healthcare, education, criminal justice reform, voting rights, small businesses and women's rights.We fundraise through membership dues and hosting events for candidates in an effort to assist them with running a successful campaign. Contributions are given to them directly or indirectly when we purchase advertisements through newspapers, radio, social media, direct mail, billboards, yard signs as well as train and hire campaign workers to canvass, call, text or email voters on their behalf.We help women win and take their seat of the table of political decision-making at every level of government.
