MADELEINE PRESS is an influential UK womenswear fashion brand.Designer & Founder, Madeleine Press, graduated from Ravensbourne in 1993 and immediately started her first designer womenswear label, Press & Bastyan.The Press & Bastyan label quickly established itself and in 1997 was acquired by Karen Millen, leading to a rapid roll-out of retail stores and concessions. Madeleine left Press & Bastyan in 1999 to concentrate on her own-name label.Founded in 2001, the MADELEINE PRESS label operated stand-alone Central London stores, a number of stores across Japan and built an International wholesale stockist base including Saks 5th Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, Nieman Marcus, Harvey Nichols, Liberty, Selfridges.Madeleine Press now works on selected consultancy projects.
