Madera Home acquires the old temple wood and unusable furniture pieces – often 100 – 300 years old and re-commissions it into beautiful furniture utilizing old world craftsmanship with modern touches.Madera Home works with top wood workers that follow the philosophy of traditional craftsmanship. Our teams of artisans and designers have over 100 years of experience and help us to capture the same charm of the past the furniture once held. Some are excellent wood workers while others are gifted artists sitting patiently and working on each carved hand finished panel.As the process of selecting and designing our furniture demands specific knowledge and high attention, its rewards are certainly shown within our impressive selection of furniture. Sideboards, tables, media cabinets, console tables, wood carvings, trunks, book chests and more, are all being treated and oiled before the final touch of various wood-stain shades and colored lacquers. We ensure the highest quality and sturdiness in all of our pieces and that there is no deterioration of the aged wood.Our inventory is solid wood, Madera Home is proud to use only reclaimed wood from old buildings and furniture. We have also recently expanded our range to include reclaimed or salvage metal and resin. Originating from a decommissioned calculator factory, these unique materials are "up-cycled" into something clean, sleek and new.We are importers of fine furniture.
