Reality is over-ratedI love to take pictures. I started to photograph at age 10 and had my own dark room. For many years I worked in black and white. However, in the 90's I got more and more frustrated by the limitations of analogue photography. Digital photography gave back the fun. I love digital photography! Now I use colours and photoshop a lot. For a long time I was convinced that photography should stay as close as possible to reality, but as David Hockney rightfully pointed out, photography is "a one-eyed man looking through a little 'ole. Now, how much reality can there be in that?". Manipulating pictures can make art out of photography. A picture is not a representation of reality, it's a representation of what you see and perceive.
