MAES Therapy specialises in the treatment of children (and adults) with movement and coordination difficulties, caused by a variety of conditions, for example: cerebral palsy, Erb's palsy, acquired head injury and aim to provide the highest quality physical therapy. The MAES Therapy approach is a dynamic and creative approach that aims at providing clients with very specific and individualised treatment to improve clients' coordination of movement on a short and long term basis. Our strength is the in-depth analysis and understanding of movement and coordination (why the client moves the way he/she does) and then finding treatment strategies to help clients with movement disorders to develop a repertoire of new movement combinations they are unlikely to develop on their own. MAES Therapy relates disability and the lack of specific 'means' required for a task. It addresses functional limitations by providing the child with new 'means'.
