MissionMaestro, in partnership with the people of our region, serves individuals andfamilies with opportunities to actively share in the creation and enjoyment ofhigh quality inspirational musical and theatrical performances that enrich thecultural vitality of the communities in which they live.HistorySince 1989, Maestro Productions has been serving individuals, families, and communities with its unique performances that utilize the organization's own community ensembles as well as collaborations with area choirs, instrumentalists, and solo performers. The not-for-profit 501c(3) organization was founded by Madison resident and community arts leader Mark Bloedow who serves as the organization's Executive/Artistic Director. Last Summer Maestro friends and supporters came together to vision and plan for the relaunching of Maestro's ensembles and performances in Madison and Dane County including last December's very successful Madison Area Community Christmas Festival.Exciting FutureThe Dane County relocation plan, generated by interest from philanthropic supporters, local performers, and Maestro Friends will allow the Maestro organization to continue offering its high quality intergenerational ensembles and performances in local theaters, churches, school s, and hospitality venues. The Maestro planning team looks forward to building on the successes of Maestro's past, including the annual Christmas show, the Passion Play and other inspirational performances, by welcoming new talent and reaching out to new audiences throughout the region.
