Women's Contemporary Handbags Made with Digitally Printed ArtThe Designer:Designer, Maggie Welsh attended both University of Wisconsin - Madison for Textile and Apparel Design and the Fashion Institute of Technology for Accessory Design. After school, she worked designing handbags for brands including Nicole Miller, Lucky Brand, Jessica Simpson, and Franco Sarto. In addition to working in the handbag industry, Maggie has made custom backpacks for a variety of clients. After living in NYC, Maggie moved back to her hometown, Madison WI to focus on pursuing her own handbag line. Easy-to-wear handbags & backpacks that show off one-of-a-kind, statement prints, designed by Maggie herself. Modena is for a woman who wants that extra personality and to stand out with little effort. Most known for backpacks and convertible bags, each bag is meant to make your life both easier and more beautiful. Equally as important as aesthetic, how a product is made and what it is made out of is highly important to the brand. Each bag is made with printed canvas and trimmed with high quality leather in Madison and Milwaukee, WI.Modena is set to go to February Market where the Fall 2015 line will be reviled.
