Magic Africa Productions is a creative consulting and magical entertainment production company, with a wide network of professional performing artists & presenters across Africa. The company was founded by Managing Director & Executive Producer Marcel Oudejans, who works closely with a core group of professional creatives and entertainers to coordinate the network & make magical experiences a reality across Africa. Together the team has over 100 years of professional expertise & experience.Frustrated by the limited public perception of magic, & the lack of cooperation among magicians in his home city of Cape Town, South Africa, Marcel felt compelled to try something different. Inspired by ‘Monday Night Magic', long-running initiatives in London and New York, he founded The Cape Town Magic Club. The philosophy of the Club was simple, give young local talent a chance to perform professionally on a line-up with South Africa's best magicians, mentalists, & illusionists, & produce high quality shows regularly accessible to the public. To date, the Cape Town Magic Club has produced over 100 different shows across seven seasons in a variety of amazing venues in and around Cape Town.
