Magnolia Broadband has extensively tested and conclusively proven the need for "Mobile Transmit Diversity with beam-forming" in mobile devices. This has led to major tier 1 Mobile Network Operators making this 'mandatory' in their global device requirements documents.The technology is easily integrated into mobile devices and the performance improvements are realised without any need for changes/upgrades to Mobile Operators network infrastructure. Furthermore, Mobile Transmit Diversity will become a 3GPP standard in 2012 and has been in the GSMA guidelines since June 2011.Magnolia Broadband is working with OEMs and chipset companies to license the software.
