Mahallah Ali Ibn Abi Talib is the Fifth Male College in IIUM. The college has been honored to be known after the name of the fourth and the last Caliph of Khilafah Ar-Rashidun who was among the great warrior, companion and leader of Islam. He has been given a title "Asadullah" mean the lion of Allah because of his bravery in defending Islam during the time of the Prophet.IIUM students from various Kulliyyah (Faculty) and from different nation, culture, states and countries has occupied this Mahallah just after its construction completed in 1997. Until today, it receives many Non-Malaysian (International) students as well as Malaysian students every semester to stay in this Mahallah.
