Magic Mud was created as a way to share some of Maine's best kept secrets with the world. Famous for lobster and scenic vistas, Maine's shoreline holds another treasure for the open minded and bold at heart. For centuries hidden mud flats interspersed among some of Maines more rugged coast have been sought out by inhabitants for the soothing properties provided by the mud found there. From bee stings or poison ivy to aches and pains or simply as a component of daily cleansing and rejuvenation once it is discovered the versatility and vitality of the mud is almost magical. Today flats untainted by pollution are becoming more difficult to find. In a push to provide some of their benefits before they become tainted we created Magic Mud. Magic Mud combines traditional cleansers, exfoliants, and creams with the mud gently and responsibly harvested from some of Maine's most hidden and isolated coves. These combinations are an effort to bring some of the magic of Maine directly to you, to fit easily into your daily life, distant as you may be from the peaceful originating coves of our Magic Mud.
