Maize FC is a student-run club soccer program at the University of Michigan. Maize Futbol Club was founded in 2009 in response to a high demand on the University of Michigan campus for a second competitive, club-level soccer team. MFC has continued to expand since then, entering its 9th season as a club team and its 6th season in the CCL. The CCL includes Maize Futbol Club, Saginaw Valley State University, Oakland University, Wayne State University, University of Michigan-Flint, Hillsdale College, Mott College, and Washtenaw Community College. MFC is recognized and financially supported by the Michigan Student Assembly as a Voluntary Student Organization.
