Maji consists of two divisions: a business and a nonprofit organization. To make a distinction, we decided to give each its own unique, yet recognizable name. A name for our business, befitting of our convictions and commitment, arose: Maji United. Maji United developed as a means of funding service projects and providing resources for local and international humanitarian aid. 20% of all profits go directly to our nonprofit organization Maji Global. The other 80% goes back into the business, allowing for product expansion and turning creative projects into a reality. Our goal is to have each person who joins actively involve themselves in at least four unpaid service hours every month and work to invite others to commit to service. Each month, Maji organizes a service project in the Salt Lake City, Utah area, with expansion to other areas in the future. Join us at our project, or serve anywhere you see a need.
